The Lopes Mendes Journey is an epic tour that takes you to one of the three most beautiful beaches in the world, located on the ocean coast of Ilha Grande. With its pristine white sands, surfable waves, lush flora, and nearly 3 km of coastline, Lopes Mendes is the destination for adventurers seeking unspoiled nature and seclusion.
You can go in three ways:
🚶 Direct trail (T10 + T11)
Departure from Vila do Abraão ► Palmas ► Mangues ► Pouso ► Lopes Mendes
Total distance of approximately 5.6 km, 3 hours of walking (one way only)
Intermediate level: ascents and descents; marked trail.
Excellent for those seeking ecological immersion.
⛴️ Boat + short trail (T11)
Boat from Vila do Abraão to Praia do Pouso (R$30 round trip)
Easy 1 km walk (20–30 min, medium difficulty)
🚢 Schooner or speedboat (Super Sul)
Boat trip with stops at Praia do Pouso and the possibility of taking a schooner to Lopes Mendes.
Available only in calm seas; cancelled in rough seas.

Optional water taxi transportation (round trip)
Equipment hoist on a schooner (if chosen)
